The Minister for Minorities Welfare Mr.Ahmedullah is handing over the copy of the G.O. to Khaleequr Rahman on behlaf of the Government of Andhra Pradesh appointing him as the member of the High Powered Co-ordination Committee.
The State government on Friday constituted a High Powered State-level coordination committee for monitoring the computerisation of records of the Andhra Pradesh State Wakf Board. The computerisation programme, funded by the central government, is aimed at digitising all records pertaining to the Wakf Board properties for their protection and better management. The coordination committee, headed by the principal secretary, Minorities Welfare department, comprises Finance additional secretary M Bhupal Reddy, Revenue deputy secretary V Ravi Shankar, Law deputy secretary Manmohan, and director (Communications) of IT department JV Parthasaradhi apart from the regional officer of the National Informatics Centre, Hyderabad. President of the Foundation for Progress and Development Mohd Khaleequr Rahman and Muslim Association secretary Syed Maqbool Hussain Basha will represent non-governmental organisations in the committee. The chief executive officer of the Wakf Board will be the convener of the committee.
