Prince Shahamat Jah Bahadur
Aiwan-e-Shaiji was founded about eighteen years back by Prince Nawab Mir Shahamat Jah Bahadur in the fond and loving memory of his father Prince Mauzam Jah Bahadur Shaji. Prince Mauzam Jah Bahadur Shaji is the son of Nizam the VII. Prince Mauzam Jah Bahadur is also popularly known as Shaji. Shaji was his taqallus. He was a great poet besides being a great human being. His love for the urdu language and the poetry made Prince Shaji a great poet himself. His poetry reflects the pain of losing the dynasty and the subsequent coping up with the changes that were made part of life as a matter of destiny. He never compromised on his principles and the self respect and till his last breath lived his life on his terms and has always spread the very strong message of royalty with a commoner. He always treated hindus and muslims as his two eyes.
